Types of Trucks
Below the common types of trucks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
1. Flatbed Trailer
The mostly known type of trucks is suitable for the transportation of majority of types of cargoes and containers. The loading can be done from sideways and above.
– Loading capacity: 20-25 tons.
– Trailer length : 12 – 13.6 meters.
– Capacity: 22-33 euro -pallets.
2. Curtain Sides Trailer
Suitable for the transportation of types of cargoes that cannot be belted . The loading can be done from sideways only.
– Loading capacity: 20-25 tons.
– Trailer length : 13.6 meters.
– Capacity: 24-33 euro -pallets.
3. Sides wall trailer
Suitable for the transportation of types of cargoes that cannot be belted, loose items (without pallets), and / or cargoes with more than 2.5 meter height. The loading can be done from the back door and above only.
– Loading capacity: 20-25 tons.
– Trailer length : 13.6 – 15 meters.
– Capacity: 24-36 euro -pallets.
4.Refrigerated Trailer / Reefer Trailer
Refrigerated Truck Used for the transportation of the most perishable goods with special storage conditions: from +25 C to -25 C.
– Loading capacity: 12 – 22 tons.
– Trailer length : 13.6 meters.
– Capacity: 24-33 euro -pallets.
5. Lowbed Trailer
can be used also for the transportation of oversize and /or overweight cargoes (big cranes, military equipment’s, etc.) .
– Loading capacity: 25 – 100 tons.
